The students of Design and Clothing Trades at the JAOF Higher Institute of Science had an enriching two-day master class with our esteemed partner, Mrs. Tina Blanche, a renowned expert in design and clothing and founder of the Famous Art Association. The training took place on February 13th and 16th, 2024, at the premises of the institution. Under her guidance, the students delved into the depths of creativity and know-how, gaining valuable insight to fuel their passion for design and clothing trades.
During her presentation, Mrs. Tina spoke about her academic and professional background. She emphasized the importance of not solely being money-minded and the significance of passion, dedication, and continuous learning in the pursuit of a fulfilling career. She equally encouraged students to prioritize their interests and to approach their work with a sense of purpose and curiosity.
In his address, the Director of JHIS, Pr. Ibrahim Mougande said the collaboration between the institution and Famous Arts will undoubtedly provide students with unique opportunities to gain insights from industry professionals and further develop their skills.
Mr. Clauvis, Communication officer of the Famous Art said. “The relationship that exists between Famous Art and the J&A Foundation is that of a family collaboration. It's one that aims at improving the quality of students training in technical areas like design, communication, and modeling. Highlighting future benefits, Mr Clauvis said Famous Arts Association is working to create a hub in the future to connect students with professionals; and possibly get them jobs.
This masterclass aligns with Pr. Julius Oben, Proprietor of JHIS’s vision of training students who will be competitive in the job market.
